Jewellery Workshops for Christmas 2024 

I am the last person to speak of Christmas before Halloween has passed us.....really, I am. As a Halloween Queen it makes me queasy...

But it’s reached that point where it’s time to start considering what gifts we wish to give our loved ones this year! I’m sure many of you organised souls will have already started the Christmas shopping and I’m proud of you for being organised.  

However, there are always those select few every year that for one reason or another, ultimately end up leaving grabbing the gifts to the last minute, usually nipping up to Pandora to grab the partner some jewellery.  

 If I’ve called you out on that one, don’t worry - I have the perfect solution for you.  Rather than rushing to town a couple of days before Christmas to get something shiny – this year why not opt for a special, more personalised route that still involves sparkly stuff? 

A twist on the standard Christmas gift-bling that’s predictable and devoid of any thought and originality (in my opinion, feel free to disagree), why don’t you make the gift yourself? I promise you that the gesture in itself would mean so much more, having designed and crafted it yourself. Even if it’s not a Swarovski-level masterpiece, the experts are on hand to guide you and can help with ideas or inspiration if it is needed.  

Now if you reallyyyy don’t fancy yourself a horologist for the day, if you have no eye for craft and design that’s absolutely fine too, not all of us were born with the 

 The jewellery workshop promises hands-on experience with moulding and cutting silver clay, creating textures and making a tiny mould for the centre of the pendant. Once you’ve sculpted your pendant, you’ll be hard at work sanding, firing and filing your finery and learning all the tricks of the trade. The ideal experience for anyone who loves jewellery, crafting or just shiny things in general. Sounds like a lot? Don’t worry there’s sustenance provided in the form of tea coffee and biscuits, so you’ll be all set. Once you’ve crafted the pendant, you’ll leave the workshop adorned with a stunningly crafted and personalised piece.  

By gifting this experience, they’ll have the treasured memories of creating it themselves, and those memories will stay with them for as long their jewellery sparkles.  Those memories are not something you can simply get gift wrapped from your local jewellers. Shirley Bassey was correct when she said diamonds are forever, but memories can shine just as iridescently.
