Slice and Dice with an Axe

Axe throwing

Netflix is already running full steam ahead with its selection of frightening flicks that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck, and ‘tis the season to watch Jason Voorhees run amok with his axe at Crystal Lake once more. Thankfully Friday 13th has already passed us, falling in September this year.

If you are eager to embrace spooky season and tend to enjoy the more thrilling element of Halloween or are in desperate pursuit of an afternoon outdoors endeavour in the beautiful autumnal scenery, then an axe throwing experience would be the one for you.

You and up to 6-8 comrades would have the riveting chance to learn and get to grips to wielding all manner of weaponry, including axes, knives and tomahawks to ensure deadly accuracy.

The experts would train you in the appropriate way to handle your axe through every swing, so by the time your experience is at its end you’ll have confidently mastered your weapon of choice. Perfect for first time weaponry novices and seasoned warriors alike. Once you’ve got the basics, dare to sharpen your skills with fun challenges to keep you sharp and ready.

Wherever in the UK you may be reading this from, Wonderdays has you covered, with specialised sites in Chester, Leicestershire, Nottingham, Kent and Brighton to name but a few.

If you feel Viking enough, dice it up and get slicing and dicing with the tomahawk axe, straight out of The Last Kingdom!

Don’t worry if this all sounds a little daunting though, if you would find a lighter weapon easier to manoeuvre or are in need of an axe better suited for junior lumberjacks then try the mouse hawk, a lighter and easier-to-handle version of the tomahawk.

Rest assured after completing this experience if Michael Myers is stalking you down the street this Halloween, you know you’ll be able to take him down before he even gets close to you. However many times it takes.

This is certainly not an experience for the faint of heart, and definitely not an experience to miss out on this autumn.

Disclaimer: If you want to throw an axe dressed as your favourite horror film antagonist for extra thrills, I imagine they would be too scared to stop you. Because no one wants to argue with Ghostface.
