Afternoon tea in Shropshire is always going to be a winner as not only do you have the beauty of the county to discover, you also have a traditional afternoon tea to enjoy too! Set in Wellington, you are a stones throw away from the beautiful sites of Ironbridge, Shrewsbury and Telford Town Shopping Centre if you want some retail therapy.
Once at the café you get a selection of sandwiches, the best ever homemade sausage rolls, scones and cakes with unlimited tea and coffee.
You can obviously expect to find animals all over Shropshire thanks to the rolling hills and farms, but did you know you can see meerkats, lemurs and snakes but to name a few! If having to paddle down the River Severn seems like hard work, then the next best option is to get someone to sail you down! A river cruise in Shrewsbury is the best way to enjoy the surroundings and relax!
