It’s no secret that we are not the most blessed country when it comes to days of sunshine! As a country, Wales can experience around 170 days a year of rain, leaving us scrambling to find ways to keep ourselves amused and entertained for nearly half the year!

But we do love our summer, and those few weeks when the sun comes out, the smells of BBQ invade our streets and our nearest coastline has never looked more appealing, we are rarely stuck for anything to do. However, the appeal of a garden get together, a few drinks down the local beer garden or a trip to the seaside with the kids does wane somewhat during the inevitable bouts of rain we get treated to each year!

But we have to embrace it and its our climate that makes Wales what it is.

Wales has some spectacular natural sites, from soaring peaks to the 20 plus blue flag beaches, and many of the experiences available in our beloved Wales do embrace everything that Wales has to offer naturally.

1:1 4X4 Off Road Experience

For either half an hour or an hour of driving time dependent on which you choose, you’ll take an iconic 4x4 for a spin with this one-to-one exclusive driving experience where you’ll be led by an expert instructor that will give you the confidence and techniques you need to really drive the 4X4.

Zip World Velocity 2

Set in the Penrhyn Quarry in Snowdonia, you get to firstly travel down wire through the quarry at 40mph before then taking on the big one; the Big Zipper! Jump into the specialised vehicle that takes you to the dipper and get strapped horizontally into the longest zip wire in Europe before hurtling down the line at speeds of up to 100mph! No wonder it’s the fastest zip wire in the world!

Skomer Island Pembrokeshire

Embarking on a two-hour boat trip around Skomer Island is a journey that promises a captivating blend of natural wonders and marine beauty. Departing from the old lifeboat station at St. Justinians on the Pembrokeshire coast, your adventure begins sailing across the waters of St Brides Bay to Skomer Island.

British Inn Stay with Breakfast For Two

Enjoy the perfect getaway with a relaxing break away in a traditional British countryside inn. Whichever hotel or inn you choose, all offer bright and comfortable rooms, complimentary WiFi, breakfast and flat-screen TVs - perfect for relaxing in between whatever activities and days out you have planned during your stay. With a cooked or continental breakfast included with every stay, you’ll start the day as you mean to go on.

Caving Abseiling and Zip Line Experience

This is a fantastic adventure for anyone that loves adrenaline as you get to experience not just one thrill but three all in some of the UK’s most magnificent caves. You’ll undertake caving where you’ll see geological and archaeological marvels in hidden passages before you emerge into the main caves. As if this wasn’t enough, you’ll do mammoth abseils, cross over deep water, climbs and then you’ll finish with a zip line from the valley.

Enjoy sunny Wales! Shaun.
