It Takes Two!
Whilst I might like to think I am quite independent and wouldn’t think twice about doing experience days alone; there’s something special about sharing an experience with anot...
We like to do our research when considering making an online purchase, especially when it comes to something like holidays, short breaks or days out. We love to gather some feedback from people who have actually taken part in the experience and can give some honest feedback.
Here at WonderDays, we embrace this mantra by asking our team to proactively do as many of the experience days as possible in order to be able to give you, our potential customers, a totally unfiltered and first-hand account of what to expect and the highlights!
Today, we are chatting with Customer Service Manager Shaun, who has been fortunate enough to experience a number of our days out and here we chat about what are the best that he has done and why.
Let’s hear all about Shaun’s experiences:
I felt this was a wonderful experience. The booking process was super easy and the greeting on site from the guide, Olly and the Alpacas was warm and welcoming. The guide Olly was personable and knowledgeable. The experience was not rushed and the animals are clearly well cared for. The day exceeded my expectations considering it’s a very cost effective option to explore for an experience day. It can happen in most weathers, so keep an eye on the ground conditions and don’t wear white trainers like me!
The Making of Harry Potter Tour at the Warner Bros
I'm a fan, so this was never going to disappoint. The price point is great considering you have so much to see and do during this immersive experience. The studios tour is an impressive set up and something I would be keen to revisit.
The lunch after was a short drive away, in an idyllic setting. There was a limited menu to choose from by ample options and outstanding food quality. You do have to book quite far in advance due to the popularity of the experience.
River cruise experience in Shropshire
I would recommend this experience to any one local or visiting Shrewsbury. The river cruise lasts around 45 minutes taking in the sights of Shrewsbury from the unique perspective of the River Severn. You can buy drinks and light snacks on board which are reasonably priced. We liked that you could do you own thing in terms of site-seeing going up stream and then on the way back, the guide would talk through all the history of Shrewsbury and point out local landmarks.
Having been very lucky to have done this experience more than once, I can attest to what a truly stunning experience it is. Taking in the local landscape from up above offers an amazing perspective on things. It’s a really tranquil experience once airborne and we really enjoyed assisting the crew before and after flight with the inflation and deflation process. The booking process is easy, and the organised crew on the day make things run as smoothly as possible.
