Choose between a charming shepherd hut or a spacious yurt tent, both perfect for a romantic getaway. The shepherd hut, equipped with electricity and full insulation, offers ample space for a bed, seating area, and storage. You can conveniently park your car alongside and even bring your furry friend along. The 6-metre long hut features a covered porch for cooking and a small private deck by the stream, creating an idyllic spot to spend your evening.
Opting for the yurt tent provides a generous space to unwind, complete with a wood burner, a comfortable double bed, camping kitchen, and essential furniture.
Regardless of your choice of accommodation, you can enjoy a welcome house drink at Monty's Bar and enjoy breakfast of pastries and tea or coffee each morning.
A peaceful and relaxing environment awaits you in the picturesque Dorset countryside, surrounded by woodlands, heathlands, lakes, and a river teeming with wildlife and diverse bird species.
A welcome house drink in Monty's Bar is included as standard for each visitor, even if you have chosen the option to include a bottle of prosecco or champagne or the welcome drinks pack.
Breakfast includes: Pastries and tea or coffee.
Welcome Drinks Pack includes: 2 bottles of fruit cider and 2 bottles of local beer.
Yurt or shepherd hut: When booking with the experience provider, you can specify whether you would like to stay in the yurt or a shepherd hut.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
How big are the glamping units?
Shepherd hut: 6 metres long by 2.4 metres wide
Yurt: 5 metres in diameter
What is provided?
All the basics are provided such as:
Cutlery, mugs, plates, saucepans and chopping boards
Kettle, toaster, small fridge
Outdoor gas cooking stove (under cover)
Tea, coffee and milk sachets
Double bed with mattress
What do I need to bring?
Bedding (pillows, duvets, bed sheets or sleeping bags)
Food and drink
Towels
Bin bags
Tea towels, washing up liquid
Torch (for walking through the park at night)
Is there electricity and heating?
Your glamping unit will have a power supply for small appliances like phone chargers.
Shepherd huts have solar panels for lighting and electric panel heaters. Both shepherd huts and the yurt have wood burners.
Is there WiFi?
WiFi is very limited because of the rural location. Free WiFi is available in the Reception area and via boosters at the amenities block. The 4g signal for mobile phones is good throughout the park.
Car Parking
There is a car park on site and each glamping unit has a dedicated parking space.
Are fires allowed?
Both the shepherd huts and the yurt have a fire pit. There is also an outdoor cooking area.
Is the yurt waterproof?
Yes. It has a thick, durable groundsheets sewn into the sides with a 3-inch lip to ensure there are no leaks. What’s more, it is erected on an individual decking platform 7 x 7 metres, so it’s raised off the ground.
Where are the toilets and showers?
You will have 24-hour access to our toilet and shower blocks which are modern and well maintained. Your shepherd hut or yurt will be within 50 metres 50 metres of the shower and toilet facilities. Hairdryers and mirrors are included in the shower block.
Can I bring my dog?
Up to 2 dogs are welcome to stay in the shepherd huts but not in the yurt, for a supplement of £5 per dog/per night.
Can I bring candles and tea lights?
No naked flames are allowed inside any of the glamping units however you can bring battery operated lights.
