Embark on a 2 hour flight experience in a small Piper Warrior PA28 aircraft. This is the ideal experience for aviation enthusiasts and those thinking about maybe taking the leap and booking flying lessons.
This flight experience offers an exclusive opportunity for you to sit alongside an experienced pilot in the cockpit. Departing from Cranfield Airfield near Milton Keynes in Bedfordshire, the flight provides an up-close encounter with the fundamentals of aviation.
During the journey, the pilot will guide you through the basics of flight, demonstrating the aircraft's controls, giving you a real sense of what it is like to navigate the skies in a light aircraft. As you climb higher, the panoramic views of the stunning landscape unfold beneath you.
This flight experience not only serves as a preview of piloting but also provides an amazing bird's eye view of the surrounding area. It'll be a memorable experience for anyone who loves flying.
Once you're back on solid ground, this experience includes a delicious light lunch either onsite at Cranfield Airfield or at the Essex Country and Golf Club, this will be confirmed when your booking is confirmed.
Weather can affect the safety of flights so a flight may be cancelled and rescheduled at short notice.
Scheduled flights are also subject to aircraft serviceability and availability.
The Stansted fly over is subject to clearance from ATC and is subject to change.
All of the aircraft have the capacity for one occupant in the rear on a pleasure flight.
This experience is available to book 7 days a week between 9am and 7pm, subject to weather.
Please note: Weekends are the busiest times and bookings may need to be scheduled up to a month in advance. Most weekday bookings will need around 1 week's notice.
Total experience time is 3 hours (including a 15 minute briefing).
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
