The Main Event

Embark on a captivating 30-minute helicopter ride over the charming landscapes of Northamptonshire, beginning your journey from Turweston Airfield.

As you soar through the skies, the beauty of Northamptonshire is unveiled before you, offering glimpses of notable landmarks such as the Althorp Estate, the final resting place of Princess Diana, situated within the historic Spencer family home. Marvel at the architectural grandeur of the esteemed public school, Stowe School, nestled amidst picturesque surroundings, while experiencing speeds of 120mph at altitudes surpassing 1000 feet. A sight not to be missed is the picturesque village of Silverstone along with the world famous race track of the same name.

The helicopter will gracefully return you to Turweston Airfield, after completing the half-hour helicopter adventure, leaving you with memories that'll last a lifetime.

*This isn’t a private flight unless you book for 4 people. If you book for 2 people for example, the one spare space to make up 3 passengers could be filled by someone from another booking.*

Important to Note

It is required by the Civil Aviation Authority that all passenger weights are taken in order that the aircraft does not exceed its maximum permitted take off weight.

The MAXIMUM seat capacity is 265lb, 19 stone or 120kgs. If you exceed this weight and still want to fly, you will be required to purchase a second seat at 50% discount, this seat will then be left empty. This is purely for safety reasons but please discuss this with the experience supplier.

The Load Master will determine the seating positions of all passengers, this is not negotiable. As a rule of thumb the lightest passenger will be seated in the co-pilot seat.

When

Helicopter flights are available 7 days a week and are subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

The minimum age for passengers flying by themselves is 10 years old. However if accompanied by an adult, there is no minimum age but the child must be able to sit up-right by themselves.
Wheelchair users can be accommodated.
A group booking of 4 passengers will have the aircraft to themselves.
Families or groups of 3 passengers will all be seated in the rear of the helicopter, this allows the front co-pilot seat to be offered to individual passengers without being an inconvenience to others.
If you are one of a party of 3 and specifically want to sit in the co-pilot seat then an upgrade fee of £50-00 will apply, the rear middle seat will then be left empty.
Groups of 2 passengers will be sharing the aircraft with other people.
Please remove hats or headgear before approaching the Helicopter and keep arms below shoulder height at all times.
If your helicopter ride is cancelled due to bad weather, you will be able to reschedule your flight.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
