The Main Event

If you've ever fancied learning how to drive off-road like a professional, this one's for you!

On this 4x4 off-road driving training course, you'll be guided by BORDA Specialist Trainer Instructors as you navigate challenging terrain in a Land Rover Discovery. Gain advanced vehicle control skills to conquer difficult off-road landscapes and master the art of navigating adverse weather conditions, whether it's flooding, ice, or snow-covered roads.

Your day kicks off with a hearty breakfast and an informative introduction to off-road driving theory. With a demonstration drive from an experienced instructor, you'll soon find yourself behind the wheel of a Land Rover Discovery, tackling terrain that's typically used to train professional 4x4 drivers, including those in utility, rescue, and emergency organisations.

The focus of this off-road driving experience is on empowering you with essential driver knowledge and skills, and upon completion of the session, you'll receive a well-deserved certificate to commemorate your off-road adventure.

It's an unforgettable experience that'll give you an exciting insight into the world of off-road driving.

Driving will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous.

On this experience, you'll be sharing the Land Rover with up to 2 other trainee drivers and a BORDA Approved Instructor.

When

Weekdays and weekends available.

Duration: Approximately 3.5 hrs. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to booked start time to ensure a prompt start.

Start times are usually 10am and 1pm, but can be adapted to suit the client.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Drivers must have a full UK car driving licence with them on the day. Medical conditions must be disclosed at point of booking.
Dress comfortably with suitable outdoor clothing, and please wear suitable flat-soled shoes or walking boots. The site can be extremely wet and muddy!
For food, 2 establishments are offered depending on client preference - a cafe or fast food restaurant both in Chirk. The cafe offers alternatives for dietary conditions and alternatives such as vegan and veggie options.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
