The Main Event

Join the skilled big cat team at Dartmoor Zoo for a one-of-a-kind experience in caring for the widest range of big cats in the South West of England.

Discover the unique characters and histories of these incredible animals while learning about their feeding routines and the crucial training that keeps them healthy and happy.

This immersive and physically demanding experience runs from 8am to 1pm, giving you a full morning of hands-on work. Afterward, you'll have the rest of the day to explore the zoo at your own pace. This thrilling experience is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Important Bits

Important to Note

Participants must have good mobility due to the physical nature of the activities.

It's is recommended to wear suitable footwear as the site has uneven pathways, gravel, and hills.

When

This experience is available to book on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 8:30AM.

It is advised to arrive 15 minutes before to allow time for parking and check-in.

Experience is subject to availability; we advise booking in advance.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Available to those aged 18 years old and over.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
