A Day of Grandeur: Visit Blenheim Palace with Afternoon Tea in The Orangery

If you’re looking for a truly memorable gift, this elegant experience at Blenheim Palace offers the perfect blend of history, beauty and indulgence. Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, or simply a special treat, a day out at Britain’s greatest palace is one they’ll never forget.

Home to the Dukes of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture set within over 2,000 acres of stunning parkland and formal gardens. With more than 300 years of history to uncover and a rich tapestry of stories waiting to be explored, there’s plenty to fascinate and inspire.

The highlight of this gift experience is a delightful Afternoon Tea in The Orangery. Surrounded by natural light and views of the palace grounds, The Orangery has been beautifully refurbished to offer an elegant dining setting. Guests can enjoy fluffy house-made scones, dainty finger sandwiches, and sweet treats crafted with locally sourced ingredients, all served with a warm welcome and a pot of freshly brewed tea.

After tea, take a stroll to the Formal Gardens or visit the Temple of Diana, the romantic spot where Churchill proposed to his wife.

From April 2025, visitors can also enjoy a range of exciting new experiences, including the once-in-a-lifetime Rooftop Experience, offering breathtaking views across the Oxfordshire countryside, and Life Below Stairs, where you’ll get a glimpse into the lives of the Palace’s servants in the 1890s.

With Blenheim Palace embarking on its most ambitious restoration project yet, a £12.5 million roof repair*, these new attractions are only available for a limited time, making your visit even more special.

This is more than just a day out, it’s a gift of timeless memories, all wrapped up in the splendour of one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks.
