The Main Event

Grab your partner or friend and make a day of it together learning a traditional craft to make a bespoke piece of ironwork.

This is a one of a kind blacksmith experience with an expert team on hand to help guide you through the process, whether or a beginner or more knowledgeable in the art of forging.

Set in Herefordshire in an old forge, you will spend approximately 3 to 5 hours (depending on what you've chosen), creating your item such as something for the home, or maybe a piece for the garden.

Whichever you choose, you get to take it home with you at the end of the session knowing you will have a piece that will remind you of a great day you had with loved ones.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

This experience day is for over 18’s. However, 16 and 17-year-olds are very welcome if accompanied by an adult.
The forge site is partially wheelchair friendly, and the forge team will try and cater for your requirements. Please discuss this at the time of booking the experience.
Bookings should be made around 8-10 weeks in advance and are subject to availability.
Long sleeves, trousers and trainers/boots are advised. Long hair must be tied back and rings, watches or bracelets removed in the workshop as these pose a snagging hazard.
Personal protective equipment is provided on arrival.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
