Step into the shoes of a detective for a day and assist seasoned experts in deciphering the mysteries behind a heinous crime.

The experience starts by introducing you to the fundamental principles of crime scene investigation, where you will unravel the details of the specific crime you're tasked with solving. Whether it's a case of murder, kidnapping, or arson, the responsibility of unraveling the truth rests squarely on your shoulders.
Engage in hands-on activities, employing real-life investigative techniques to collect and analyse evidence. Learn the nuances of fingerprint development, electronic footwear mark casting, scene photography, and the delicate art of interviewing witnesses and suspects.

As your immersion into the realm of crime-solving deepens, the second part of your day will be spent as a forensic scientist, guided by a team of experts. Delve into the intricate world of DNA, explore cytology as you prepare and examine your own DNA under a microscope, and gain insights into DNA electrophoresis.
Uncover the secrets of determining time, location, and causes of death through forensic entomology and phycology, followed by an examination of hair under a microscope.

This ultimate crime scene investigation experience promises a fascinating day of discovery for anyone with a passion for understanding the intricacies of solving complex crime cases.

Whilst this experience is hands-on, participants can be involved as much or as little as they wish and seating can be provided at the crime scene if required.

This experience is available on selected weekend dates from 10am-5pm.

Doors open 15 minutes before the start time.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Suitable for ages 16 and over.
While the majority of the areas are accessible for those using mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, there are steps into the toilets.
The experience provider is happy to assist where necessary to meet requirements of customers, please make them aware when you are booking of any mobility/disabilities prior to attending.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
