Really discover the outdoors with a stay in a Hems yurt in Devon!
The conventional Mongolian yurt is 6 meters in diameter and is decorated as traditionally as possible with motifs on the outer and exposed khana willow on the inside.
Each yurt has room for 6 people in a king sized bed, a double and 2 single beds and there’s a wood burner internally plus an outside fire pit for chillier evenings.
The camp site has everything you need for a staycation with hot showers, washrooms and flushing toilets as well as its own solar lighting and well equipped kitchen with gas stoves and a dining area.
This glamping site in Devon is the perfect place to escape it all and fully appreciate the beauty of the surroundings all whilst having great fun in a yurt!
Mobile phone signal at the yurt camp: There is a good signal for O2 users, while Orange EE and T-Mobile and Vodaphone have more patchy service in the area. 4G is widely available locally.
There is one solar charging point in each yurt for mobile phones and an additional charging point in the communal area.
Wi-fi: The yurt camp is off-grid so has no electricity to power a router - solar power is not suitable to do this. This break is the perfect "digital detox". There is also free Wi-Fi at all the local pubs!
There is a surcharge payable to venue for peak season stays, such as summer holidays.
