The Main Event

Dartmoor Zoo is a fantastic destination for children, offering an array of activities designed to engage and educate young minds. Kids can explore the zoo's extensive grounds, encountering a variety of animals from all over the world, from playful meerkats to majestic lions.

The zoo's interactive experiences, such as animal talks and feeding sessions, provide educational entertainment, allowing children to learn about wildlife conservation and animal behaviour in a fun and engaging way.

The dedicated children's play area offers a safe and exciting environment for kids to burn off some energy, while the family-friendly Jaguar Restaurant ensures that even mealtime is a pleasant experience. With its combination of educational opportunities, hands-on experiences, and ample space for exploration and play, Dartmoor Zoo is the perfect place for a memorable family outing.

Important to Note

It's is recommended to wear suitable footwear as the site has uneven pathways, gravel, and hills.

When

Normal opening: 7 days/week, 10am – 4pm

Occasionally the Zoo may be closed due to extreme weather or other events.

Last entry is 1.5 hours before close.

Experience is subject to availability; we advise booking in advance.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Child: 3 to 15 years old.
Adult: 16+
Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
