York

The Main Event

After exploring York for the day and maybe dining at one of the city's excellent restaurants, visitors can relax with a nightcap on the Floodlit Evening Cruise. This 60 minute journey along the River Ouse offers a new perspective of the city at twilight. Guests will enjoy soft music and a complimentary glass of prosecco.

The cruise features onboard floodlights that illuminate the riverside, inviting passengers to relax on the top deck or in the enclosed saloon. The day can be elegantly concluded with additional refreshments from the onboard bar, stocked with a variety of local beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks.

Please note not every boat or dock is able to accommodate disability access (such as wheelchair access) due to their historic nature.

For example, wheelchair access is only available at the King’s Staith Landing.

Please advise when booking if wheelchair access is needed.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Adult: 16+
Child: 5 - 15 years
Infant: 4 and under travel free.
Under 18's must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All boats have a bar and restroom facilities available.
Cash and card are accepted on board.
To ensure your comfort during the cruise, we suggest wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. It is also advisable to bring along a light jacket or sweater in case of cooler temperatures.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on board the Daytime Sightseeing Cruises, River Bus Service, and Self Drive Boats, at no additional cost, as long as they are kept on a leash.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
