This five-hour culinary adventure offers a choice of 11 diverse courses, from fish & seafood to comforting pub grub, vibrant modern street food, the ultimate Sunday lunch, classic French brasserie, and delightful Italian cuisine. 

Under the expert guidance of a chef tutor, you'll master essential techniques and insider tips to recreate these delicious dishes at home. Suitable for all skill levels, the course promises a hands-on experience, ensuring you gain confidence and culinary prowess. Enjoy a lunch featuring the very dishes you’ve crafted, and take home the recipes to impress friends and family. 

This cookery course is the perfect gift for anyone passionate about cooking and exploring new flavours.

Important to Note

All equipment and ingredients are provided as part of the course. You don't need to bring anything extra.

When

Full day courses start at 10am and finish around 3pm.

Please arrive early for tea and coffee from 9:30am.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

  • Minimum age to attend course: 13
  • Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult (18+) who is also attending the course.
  • Guests will sign a declaration form on entering the Cookery School, (on health and safety, knives etc, for the parents to sign).
  • Please advise when booking of any special dietary requirements or allergies.
  • This experience can be booked for up to 12 guests.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

Proper Pub Grub - Who doesn't love a pub lunch? Learn how to re-create pub classics from steamed suet pudding and fish pie, to faggots with bubble and squeak and Yorkshire curd tart.

Modern World Street Food - Discover the latest street food trends from across the world such as Bao buns with pork belly and spring onions, scotch egg, salmon sesame skewers, chicken satay with peanut sauce and Vietnamese summer roll.

Indian Masterclass - Discover the flavours of India on this cookery course and learn how to toast spices to bring out their flavour and marinate meat.

Cooking With Fire - Learn how to cook with DeliVita wood fired ovens. Recipes may include: pizza, bone in steaks, lamb and padron pepper skewers, grilled caesar salad, whole roast seabass, and wood fired brownies.

Italian Cuisine - Travel to Italy via the kitchen and try your hand at recipes such as focaccia; kale and ricotta Ravioli with Salsa Verde; pea risotto with pan fried seasonal protein; and tiramisu.

Middle Eastern Cuisine - Learn how to master the flavours of this exciting cuisine. Recipes could include Iman Bayeldi with griddled halloumi, flat bread, Morroccan chicken, roast aubergine with saffron yoghurt, and orange cake.

French Brasserie - Explore traditional and modern French dishes. You could be making rustic French loaf, country pate, French onion soup, chicken sauté chasseur, and pear and almond tart.

Seasonal Dinner Parties - Learn to cook with produce that’s been grown locally during various times of year. The skills you'll learn could include knife skills, preparation of meat and fish, bread making, sweet pastry, setting sweet mousses, pasta making and cooking methods.

Ultimate Sunday Lunch - Learn how to prepare, cook and carve a full Sunday lunch before sitting down to enjoy all your hard work! The recipes you try could be fish cakes, roast beef with Yorkshire puddings, porchetta Italian rolled roast pork, potatoes, vegetables, cauliflower cheese, dauphinoise potatoes, and dark chocolate and almond torte.

Classic Wellington - Learn how to cook the perfect Wellington and impress your dinner guests. Depending on the season, you could be cooking lamb, beef or venison as well as accompaniments such as Beer Bread, Seasonal Soup, Seasonal Fruit Puddings.
