This isn’t just any tank driving day – it’s the only one in the UK where you get to operate three real military vehicles and, if you're the best of the best, crush a car with a full-sized battle tank. Yes, you read that right.

Your mission begins bright and early as you're welcomed onto the site. You’ll be divided into teams, but the real competition begins once you're behind the wheel of some of the mightiest machines still in service with the British Army.

First, get ready to take control of the Abbott SPG and the British 432 APC – both powerful, armoured beasts that will have you tearing across the terrain like a true soldier. Then it’s on to your next vehicle: either the speedy 4x4 Springer ATV or the nimble British Stormer SAM. Feel the power as you navigate challenging terrain, scoring points along the way in this one-of-a-kind driving experience.

But it doesn't stop there. You'll also be treated to a tour of the armoury, getting up close and personal with the weapons used by our military forces.

And here’s the real kicker – the best driver of the day wins the chance to crush a car with a mighty Main Battle Tank, this one is the Chieftan from the film Fast & Furious 6! It’s an epic grand finale to a day filled with unforgettable moments.

Important to Note

Drivers are put into teams and rotated from activity to activity with the car crush scheduled as the Grand Finale.

Tea and coffee is available in the Mess Hall.

Important: The experience provider reserves the right to use other vehicles if required on the day.

When

This experience is available on set Saturdays between June and September.

Time slots to choose from are 9am to 1pm or 2pm to 6pm.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age for drivers is 12 years old.
Minimum height is 4ft 11.
Children under 7 years old are not allowed on site.
No dogs are allowed on site.
Please advise when booking of any medical conditions or health issues you have so the on-site paramedic can be informed.
Severe weather over a prolonged period of time may mean the event date has to be postponed. If this happens, alternative dates will be offered.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and wellington boots.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
