The Main Event

Here at WonderDays we’re here to give you not just the most amazing gifts but the most unique and this horse drawn carriage ride is a fine example!

Set in private grounds of a private estate in Selby, your carriage awaits with your driver and one of his carriage horses . You’ll set yourself up onboard the carriage with up to 3 friends and prepare to take in the views, for a tour of the woodland tracks and country lanes within the estate.

Spot an abundance of nature such as deer or buzzards while meandering through the trees and just immerse yourself in the individuality of the trip with your loved ones!

Don’t worry about the classic British weather either as whilst there is an open top carriage for the warmer months, a carriage which is enclosed with windows so you can still enjoy your ride is available for the colder months! The closed carriage will have fluffy blankets and cushions and hot water bottles if needed .

Important to Note

While heat may not be considered extreme in the UK, caution is taken when we experience a prolonged period of abnormally hot weather. This is deemed to be when temperatures are consistently above 30 degrees for more than a few days. Under these heatwave conditions both horses and humans are at risk of collapse from heat exhaustion, so in this situation, consideration and care is taken and bookings may be cancelled and or rescheduled to the cooler times of the day.

Horse have regular access to water at regular intervals with most of their work being in the shade. The booking system allows their work to be carefully scheduled and for you to be contacted when bookings need to be moved to cooler parts of the day.

Available on selected dates Monday - Sunday throughout the year.

Carriage rides last approximately one hour.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Children of all ages are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Passengers are advised to dress warmly and bring gloves in the colder months.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
