The Main Event

Discover the art of how to make perfect ice cream from an artisan gelato maker who has worked in some of Europe's top fine dining restaurants.

From the ingredients used to the final product, you'll gain an understanding of the craft as well as be introduced to the machinery essential to the gelato making process.

You'll learn the unique characteristics and the differences between gelato and sorbet, from their ingredients and texture to the methods of preparation. In addition to practical skills, the workshop also covers the history of gelato, providing a cultural and historical context to this beloved dessert.

You'll get hands-on experience of churning ice cream, allowing you to test out your new found knowledge, with expert guidance.

And of course, there'll be ice cream tasting! Indulge in a variety of flavours, and experience the richness and depth of authentic Italian gelato.

The workshop will finish with you being able to take home 1 kilo of ice cream in a flavour of your choice.

Important Bits

When

This workshop is available everyday between 5pm and 6:30pm.

Please allow 1.5 hours for this experience.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age is 15.
Group size is maximum 10 people.
There are no steps into or inside the workshop so fully wheelchair accessible.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
