The Main Event

At over 22 miles long, Loch Lomond is the largest expanse of fresh water in the UK and a boat tour is a great way to explore this beautiful loch.

There are 2 boat tours to chose from:

45 minute boat tour - This departs from Luss Pier and takes you up towards the beautiful islands in the Narrows, which is considered one of the gems of Loch Lomond, and not to be missed. On your way there you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Ben Lomond too. Ben Lomond is one of the most famous munros (mountain in Scotland over 3000 ft) in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and is well worth seeing from the loch.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife that lives on and around Loch Lomond. You might be lucky enough to spot an osprey as well as highland cows, deer, horses and wallabies.

60 minute boat tour - This departs from Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch and being a longer tour, you'll get to discover more of this intriguing part of the world. Think spectacular views and stories about local legends and the history of the loch.
We don't want to spoil it for you so we won't say too much but you'll enjoy views of castle ruins, notable munros and the captivating islands of Loch Lomond.

Important to Note

The maximum capacity is 12 passengers per boat.

Please allow 1 hour for the 45 min tour, which includes boarding and disembarking.

Please allow 1.5 hours for the 60 min tour, which includes boarding and disembarking.

When

Boat tours are available 7 days a week during the summer months.

It is recommended to book early to avoid disappointment as it can get very busy at peak times.

Please arrive 10 minutes early so all passengers can be booked in and be fitted with lifejackets.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, bringing warm clothing and waterproofs in case of cold and rain.
Sensible footwear is advised. No high heels.
There are no age restrictions for boat tours.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
