The Main Event

Take a jam-packed journey through the Highlands, enjoying many iconic Scottish sights in just one day.

Leaving Inverness, you'll make your way to the legendary Loch Ness, where you take a cruise to view the ruined 13th century Urquhart Castle. Next is a lunch stop in beautiful Beauly, why not try out one of its charming cafés and enjoy a walk in Beauly Priory, featured in the Outlander book 'Dragonfly in Amber'.

Next, there will be a Highland whisky experience. Discover at your leisure how 'uisge beatha' (the 'water of life') is made and explore the history behind one of Scotland's most iconic exports.

Listen to tales of the Jacobite rebellions and the brutal Battle of Culloden, on a visit to Culloden Battlefield. Outlander fans will love the mysterious burial chambers and standing stones at Clava Cairns. When you’ve heard the harrowing history behind the Outlander story, you might not want to travel back in time to meet Jamie Fraser after all!

After a busy day sightseeing, it's time to return to Inverness in the early evening.

Seats are not allocated on the coach. Please be on time returning to the coach for all itinerary stops.

Who Can Go

Adult: 16+
Child: 5-15 years old.
Children under the age of 5 are not permitted on this Tour.
Meals and drinks are not included.
Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated when accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark.
Please note that when visiting the whisky distillery, photographic ID (Drivers Licence or Passport) may be required to ensure participation in the whisky tasting activity.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
