This Beatles evening tour explores over 50 pivotal London sites related to the band, from their arrival in 1962 through to their solo careers. This immersive experience offers the most comprehensive exploration of central London's Beatles locations on any single tour, filled with fun and numerous photo opportunities.
The tour kicks off at the Scotch of St James Club, a renowned Beatles haunt, and visits other significant early gig and show locations. It includes the art gallery where John Lennon first met Yoko Ono and the only apartment shared by all four Beatles. You'll also explore sites connected to their encounters with Maharishi Yogi, and visit Paul McCartney's long-standing home and his Soho office.
Key recording sites like the basement club where Beatles performed and where 'Live at the BBC' sessions took place are on the itinerary, along with famous photo locations used for album covers and publicity shots. Additional stops include the Manchester Square EMI offices, Ringo Starr's flat, and shops where the iconic Beatle suits and Sgt Pepper outfits were purchased.
The tour delves into music production at studios run by George Martin, crucial to tracks such as ‘Yesterday’ and 'Eleanor Rigby'. It also covers John and Yoko’s apartment, the NEMS Offices, Brian Epstein’s house, the Apple Boutique, and the Apple Corp Office and studio. Film locations from "A Hard Day's Night", "Help!", and "Magical Mystery Tour" are featured as well.
The journey culminates with a walk across the famous Abbey Road Crossing and a visit to the site of the Beatles' final rooftop concert. Along the way, you'll also catch glimpses into the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix's histories, adding richness to the Beatles' narrative.
Your tour guide, a Beatles specialist, will enhance the journey with live commentary, music, memorabilia, and photographs, bringing the magic of the Beatles back to life.
