Explore the majestic River Severn with this Mini Raft Experience, a perfect gift idea for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. Set in the picturesque Shropshire countryside, this journey takes between 2.5 to 3.5 hours to paddle and covers a scenic seven-mile stretch. You have up to 4 hours to complete the trip allowing you ample time to soak in the tranquil surroundings at your own pace.

Your adventure begins in the historic town of Bridgnorth, where you will meet the friendly raft crew. For added convenience, a complimentary shuttle bus will transport you to the starting point on the river, ensuring a smooth start to your day. Once aboard your mini raft, you'll paddle downstream, returning directly to your vehicle for a seamless and hassle-free outing.

This experience is tailored for groups of two to five people, making it the ideal choice for a family day out or a memorable trip with friends. The mini rafts offer a stable and comfortable ride, perfect for those who may find kayaks or canoes a bit daunting. It's a wonderful opportunity to bond, share in the laughter, and create lasting memories together.

Important to Note

A minimum of 2 adults is required per raft.

The Severn Park car park in Bridgnorth is where you meet to get the shuttle bus. This is a pay and display car park - £5.50 for all day parking. The parking machines do not accept cash. Payment can be made by debit card or online via the app.

Please note: As a security deposit for mini-raft hire services, a photo ID is required for each booking, i.e driving licence or passport. A staff member will safely keep this for the duration of the hire period. However, should you fail to bring the required documents on the day they reserve the right to cancel your booking with no refund given.

When

Available Monday to Friday between the months of April and September.

Shuttle bus leaves at 10am and 11am from Severn Park car park. This will leave on time so please ensure you are not late.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age is 4 years old.
Adults participating must have paddled at least once before (canoe, kayak, raft, paddle board).
The minimum hire age is 18 years old and an adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on a one to one basis for water activities. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres. Anyone not able to swim this distance must be accompanied by an adult who can.
Maximum weight for mini-raft is 70 stone (444kg).
Please wear clothing you don't mind getting wet and bring a change of clothes and towel with you. Sensible footwear is recommended, no wellies or flip flops.
Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times whilst on the river. Please do not throw them on the ground or in the bottom of boats. Where possible please place them in the dry bag supplied to keep them clean when removed.
Do not stand up in the mini rafts whilst on the river and take care when getting out. When you leave the river take all your belongings, buoyancy aids and paddles as these are your responsibility and you will be charged in full if they are lost or stolen.
If your mini raft trip is cancelled due to bad weather or high river levels, an alternative date will be offered to you.
Please make the experience provider aware of any medical conditions, recent illnesses, allergies, surgery, pregnancy or other information of your family or group members. Anyone with a history of epilepsy should also avoid participating in this activity.
There is no whitewater on the 7 mile stretch.

What about Insurance?

Customers are responsible for all equipment whilst in their period of hire and will be charged in full for replacement or repair of any damaged or lost equipment, irrespective of how damage/loss was caused.
