The Main Event

If you've ever dreamt of soaring through the skies, why not take the first step with a Model Plane Flying Experience. Whether you're a complete novice or someone just starting to learn how to fly model planes, this basic training session offers the perfect introduction to the world of aviation.

During your session which will typically consist of 4 sorties, each lasting around 8 minutes, you'll get the chance to learn the ropes of model plane flying in a structured, fun, and supportive environment. You’ll start with a comprehensive briefing, before heading to the flightline & quickly starting to learn the basics, focusing on building confidence and mastering the fundamental skills needed to progress to safe model aircraft flying. With clear, step-by-step instructions, you’ll soon feel the thrill of guiding an aircraft through the air.

You have the option to bring your own aircraft and buddy box. However, it is recommended that you get started with the company’s very own Max Thrust RIOT aircraft, guided by the expert trainer with a Spektrum Buddy Box, as this model has been perfectly set up & is the ideal aircraft for ab-initio training.

The training is tailored to meet your needs, whether you're preparing for the prestigious BMFA ‘A’ test or simply refining your flying technique. Each flight has clear objectives, and after each flight there will be a debrief & the next sortie re-briefed. At the end of the session, you'll receive a detailed debrief to help you improve and develop your skills going forward. With checklists and a focus on safety, you can rest assured that your learning journey will be as smooth as it is exhilarating.

Important to Note

Sessions "For 1" - Will be approximately 3 hours with a minimum of 4 flights.

Sessions "For 2" - Will be approximately 4 hours with a minimum of 4 flights each.

When

Available to book on weekdays for morning or afternoon sessions.

It may be possible to book a weekend however the flying venue can get very busy making it not ideal for training.

All dates and session times are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

No minimum age.
Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, who is either participating in the experience or just spectating.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
