Your day begins with a red carpet welcome at your departure station, where you’ll be escorted aboard the Northern Belle’s opulent 1930s-style Pullman carriages. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear that this is no ordinary train ride. One of the liveried Stewards will guide you to your plush seat, where you can relax and enjoy the first of many highlights – a glass of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut NV Champagne, poured just for you.
As the train sets off, you’ll embark on a journey through the glorious British countryside, but it’s the incredible cuisine that steals the show. The celebrated Head Chef, Matthew Green, has crafted a sumptuous seven-course lunch using only the finest seasonal ingredients from across the British Isles. As you settle into the rhythm of the journey, each course is expertly paired with the perfect wine chosen by the Sommelier, ensuring that each bite is a culinary delight.
Start with freshly prepared canapés, including indulgent caviar blinis, before moving on to a delicious seasonal soup course. The main course showcases the best of British produce, artfully crafted to reflect the route you’re travelling. Then, indulge in a decadent dessert, expertly prepared by talented chefs, before rounding off the experience with an exquisite selection of British cheeses, complemented by chutney, fruitcake, biscuits, and a glass of Port.

The train is hauled by a heritage diesel locomotive. It is not steam hauled.
Dietary Requirements/Allergies
Please give at least 14 days notice (prior to travel) of any dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free.
It is not possible to provide meals that require strict religious observance in preparation.
Please note that due to the small preparation areas on the train, no cross contamination can be guaranteed so please advise of any serious allergic reactions when booking.
Seating Arrangements
All carriages are vintage pullman style. Each row of seats is a table for two and across the aisle a table for four.
Tables For Two
There are limited tables for two. There is a chance you may be sharing a table of four with another couple.
Subject to availability you may guarantee a table for two by paying a supplement of £75 per passenger when booking.
Bookings of five or six attract a surcharge of £150 for the use of the private table for two.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
