Then, for a touch of nostalgia, they can hop aboard a heritage train at Swanage Railway Station (it could be a steam train or a heritage diesel train). This journey back in time to 1885 offers a chance to travel to the historic villages of Corfe or Norden. At either stop, they’ll enjoy complimentary access to fascinating museums that delve into the rich history of the area. Corfe Castle’s ancient ruins beckon for exploration, while a cosy village pub offers the perfect spot to soak up the local atmosphere.

Heritage Train & Boat Experience
Runs from 1st April to 31st October.
Boat Departure Times From Poole Quay : 10.30am & 1.00pm.
Please allow 2.25 hours for the Jurassic Boat Trip.
Train Departure Times From Swanage: 2.30pm & 4.45pm
Please note the 1pm boat trip normally gives you just enough time to do the train only and not get off. If you want to spend some time in Swanage, Corfe Castle or Norden, it is recommended you go for the first sailing.
Please allow 1 hour for the Steam Train journey from Swanage to Norden (passing Herston Halt, Harmans Cross and Corfe Castle before getting to Norden).

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

A range of 3* and 4* hotels will be considered for you and the 3 best hotel rooms available for the dates you've requested will be sent to you, for you to choose from.
Please note that seasonality, major events, public holidays, etc can affect hotel availability.

What happens next?
When you book, you'll be able to choose your location and the dates of your stay.
Once we have received your date request, please allow 24 hours for an email from us with three of the best hotel rooms to choose from, available at that time.
Once you have chosen a hotel room, your booking will be placed with the hotel and all booking confirmations will be forwarded to you.
