The Ford GT40 is an iconic American-British endurance racing car, renowned for its remarkable success, especially at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Developed in the early 1960s, it emerged from a rivalry between Ford and Ferrari, following Ford's failed attempt to buy Ferrari.
