The Main Event

A Premium Mystery Picnic provides a distinctive self-guided culinary and adventure experience, where each location is meticulously selected to showcase the unique food, sights, and attractions of the area. The Premium option gives you extra treats, hot drinks, and indulgences that make it an ideal choice for special occasions.

Participants have the opportunity to explore vibrant market towns and breathtaking landscapes, guided to secret delis and charming bakeries. The journey is enriched with an abundant selection of food and drink, featuring gourmet items from local artisan producers such as cheeses, meats, fruits, and crackers, crafting the perfect country getaway.

The adventure kicks off with participants solving bespoke clues and riddles, embarking on a quest to collect delectable gourmet picnic items progressively. Each puzzle solved advances them closer to their next culinary stop and, eventually, to their remarkable picnic location. The experience includes a pre-planned itinerary, pre-booked and paid food and experiences, creating a stunning picnic spread.

Important to Note

Please note, you'll need a mobile phone with internet access the day of your experience.

You’ll get your clues via email by 5pm the evening before your picnic.

A picnic spot will have been planned for you; be that a picnic area, a park or even a winery. Please note that picnic set up is not included so you are welcome to find a spot and settle in to eat.

What do I need to bring?
A fully charged phone, pen and paper, bottle of water, cooler bag/carry bag with an ice pack, own knife, plates, cups, and a picnic blanket.

Weather
Mystery Picnics can happen rain, hail or shine. If you'd prefer to reschedule your picnic due to rain you'll need to give 3 business days notice, so we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast.

This experience generally takes place between 11am and 1pm - your start time will be confirmed in your confirmation email.

We recommend allowing at least 3-4 hours, including enjoying your picnic.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Vegetarian, vegan & gluten free picnics available. Availability of these varies by location.
A car may be required for some locations.
Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and for walking.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
