The Main Event

If you're looking to spoil someone rotten for their birthday or a special anniversary, you can't go far wrong with this luxury gift of a private helicopter ride and dining experience at Rushton Hall.

Departing from Turweston Airfield, your private helicopter will transport across stunning countryside to the 14th-century former stately home Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire, known for it's grandeur and beautifully cared for grounds.

Once you've arrived at Rushton Hall, you'll get to indulge in either a 3 course lunch from the à la carte menu or a wonderful traditional afternoon tea, depending on which you have chosen. The lavish surroundings compliment the culinary expertise beautifully.

After your delightful dining experience has ended, you'll be whisked back to Turweston Airfield by helicopter where your fabulous experience finishes and you'll return home full of memories of this wonderful occasion.

Important to Note

Your total helicopter flight time will be 40-50 minutes.

This heli-dining experience will be organised fully by the experience provider. They will liaise with the hotel on your behalf to book in your dining experience, send you menu choices and take any dietary requirements from you.

When

Helicopter flights are available 7 days a week but please be aware that they are subject to venue approval and availability.

To have the best chance of securing your preferred dates, it is recommended to book your experience at least 2 weeks in advance.

Approximate timings for lunch and afternoon tea at Rushton Hall:
Lunch: 12pm to 1:30pm
Afternoon tea: Served Wednesday to Saturday at 1:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm and 4pm. Sunday times are 3:30pm and 4pm when available. Please allow 90 minutes for the afternoon tea.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Afternoon Tea: Dairy-free or vegan dietary requirements cannot be catered for.
Dress code is smart casual.
Rushton Hall is a strictly no smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted in the grounds.
It is required by the Civil Aviation Authority that all passenger weights are taken in order that the aircraft does not exceed its maximum permitted take off weight.
The MAXIMUM seat capacity is 265lb, 19 stone or 120kgs. If you exceed this weight and still want to fly, you will be required to purchase a second seat at 50% discount, this seat will then be left empty. This is purely for safety reasons but please discuss this with the experience supplier.
The Load Master will determine the seating positions of all passengers this is not negotiable. As a rule of thumb the lightest passenger will be seated in the co-pilot seat.
Please remove hats or headgear before approaching the Helicopter and keep arms below shoulder height at all times.
The minimum age for passengers flying by themselves is 10 years old. However if accompanied by an adult, there is no minimum age but the child must be able to sit up-right by themselves.
Wheelchair users can be accommodated.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
