The tour kicks off with a drive to Stonehenge for a special private viewing inside the stone circle, which is typically off-limits to the public. This exclusive access provides a dramatic and atmospheric experience of Stonehenge. Afterwards, head to Lacock for breakfast at a 14th-century inn, followed by a scenic drive to the elegant Georgian city of Bath.
During the Stonehenge Special Access, you'll enjoy a rare opportunity to enter the stone circle itself, standing next to the towering Sarsen rocks. Our guide will detail the history and significance of this ancient site, including the altar, slaughter, and heel stones that align with the summer solstice sunrise.
Lacock has been a backdrop for numerous films and TV dramas, including "Pride and Prejudice" and "Harry Potter." There’s then the option to dine at The George Inn, a 14th-century pub offering classic British cuisine.
The tour continues to Bath, renowned for its stunning Georgian architecture. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, with an optional walking tour that includes the 17th-century Sally Lunn tea room and the Jane Austen Museum. Highlights include Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge, reminiscent of Florence's Ponte Vecchio.
Tour departs from Millennium Gloucester Hotel. Please arrive at Hotel Casino entrance at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Tour will end near Victoria train station.
Please note that as the access time to Stonehenge changes by season, the order of the itinerary may change.
Please note at certain times due to the long summer daylight hours it is not possible to see the actual sunset but we arrive as early as possible to enjoy our private tour inside the stones.
Please note that Stonehenge reserve the right to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control such as poor weather conditions where they fear the ground and monument may be subject to damage from footfall. While this is rare to date, if it does happen it will most likely be in the winter.
The sunrise tour is available Monday and Thursday - leaves at 5:30am.
The sunset tour is available Wednesday and Sunday - leaves at 11:00am.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
