These nifty little crafts are designed to whip you through white-water rapids, bouncing and spinning through twists and turns as you feel every surge and swirl of the river.
After a full safety briefing and expert instruction from qualified river bug guides, you’ll be kitted out in a wetsuit and webbed gloves, ready to take on the Tummel. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker yourself or buying for someone who loves water sports, this is a brilliant way to do something totally different. It’s fast, fun and a little bit bonkers, in the best possible way.
Perfect for summer river levels and available between March and October, river bugging is ideal for anyone who fancies a solo challenge on the water, with plenty of guidance and support along the way. You’ll navigate your own path down the rapids, making it a personal and exhilarating journey through one of Scotland’s most scenic rivers.
If you're on the hunt for an experience day gift that’s exciting, energetic and full of character, this one will absolutely make waves!
Please bring an old pair of shoes to wear on the river (these will get wet), and swimwear to wear under your wetsuit. Optional is a non cotton t-shirt (synthetic materials are best ) for under your wetsuit. Depending on the time of the year warm clothing for before and after your trip.
Group size is up to 12 people.
All equipment is provided - wetsuit, helmet, lifejacket.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
