The Main Event

Looking for a gift that's truly baa-rilliant? How about a Sheep Trekking Experience in the stunning Shropshire countryside? This is an animal adventure with a difference!

Imagine taking a sheep for a walk. Yes, you read that right! This farm is home to many animals including a charming flock of male sheep. These gentle, yet sometimes stubborn, creatures make the quirkiest walking buddies you'll ever meet.

Your adventure begins at The Old Barn, a beautifully converted indoor space, where you'll kick things off with a quick health and safety briefing. Once you're up to speed, it’s time to cross the courtyard to the holding pen where your fluffy friends await. Here, you'll be introduced to these friendly and occasionally obstinate sheep and learn all about their unique breed.

After making acquaintances, it's time for a leisurely stroll around the farm's perimeter. Keep an eye out for alpacas grazing in the nearby fields as you walk. At the end of your trek, there's a chance to feed your woolly companion and snap some memorable photos before heading back to the courtyard.

You’ll be enchanted by the sheep's friendly and gentle nature, and might even get a baa or two! It's the perfect gift for animal lovers, offering an experience they'll treasure forever. If you know someone who adores animals, this sheep trekking adventure is sure to be a hit!

Important to Note

Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear you don't mind getting dirty. This experience will go ahead even if it's raining.

Available to book all year round on weekends and selected weekdays.

Please ensure you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your time slot.

This is a 1 hour experience.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

For ages 13 and over.
Please note that this is an outdoor experience on farm tracks. These tracks are not smoothly tarmacked and may be uneven or muddy. As a result, this experience is not accessible for wheelchair users or pushchairs.
Children remain the responsibility of the supervising adult at all times whilst on site. Please ensure they are capable of completing the experience they are booked for and ensure they remain under your control at all times.

While Shropshire Sheep are generally calm, reserved creatures, they are still wild animals and can therefore be unpredictable. We have done our best to minimise the risks of accidents but unfortunately we can never completely eliminate this risk. Prior to the experience we will brief you on our health and safety procedures and it is your responsibility to follow them at all times. We cannot accept responsibility for any accidents or injuries that occur whilst you are on our premises.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
