If trying new things is top of your family’s agenda, then staying in Devon should be top of it as you get to glamp in style!
As well as yurts, we offer an alternative accommodation in the form of a Shepherd’s Hut. Suitable for two adults and two children, this is the perfect getaway to really enjoy some family time surrounding by the beauty of nature with no screens or electronic devices getting in the way!
Sleeping arrangements mean that you can comfortably all enjoy a good nights kip in the double bed and bunk beds and if you’re tentative about staying in a yurt, then the hut is prefect as the surroundings of the River Hems and the lake make it idyllic.
There is a comfortable seating area inside with views over the meadow from the window, and views over the lake from the stable door. Inside the hut is a wood burning stove for those chillier evenings and outside is a seating area and fire pit for those balmy evenings and barbeques overlooking the meadow.

Mobile phone signal: There is a good signal for O2 users, while Orange EE and T-Mobile and Vodaphone have more patchy service in the area. 4G is widely available locally.
There is a mobile phone charging point in the communal area.
Wi-fi: The yurt camp is off-grid so has no electricity to power a router - solar power is not suitable to do this. This break is the perfect "digital detox". There is also free Wi-Fi at all the local pubs!
There is a surcharge payable to venue for peak season stays, such as summer holidays.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
