The Main Event

Magnificent views await you from the top of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the UK's tallest sculpture.

The looping structure of the ArcelorMittal Orbit is an iconic symbol of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the London 2012 Games and was fashioned from 2000 tonnes of steel, more than half of it recycled.

The lift will whisk you 80m up the red lattice tower where you'll be rewarded with breath-taking views over the park and 20 miles beyond.

What will you be able to spot? A whole host of famous London buildings such as Big Ben, The Shard, The Gherkin, The BT Tower and Canary Wharf. Interactive screens will help you interpret the views as well as explain the story of the ArcelorMittal Orbit.

After your experience wander over to The Last Drop at the base of the Orbit and enjoy a refreshing bottle of Prosecco for the two of you to share!

The ArcelorMittal Orbit will be closed from January 2024 for planned maintenance works. It is planned to relaunch early 2025.

Important Bits

Important to Note

All visitors to the Orbit enter via the Welcome Building. There is a wheelchair accessible gate here and from this point visitors can enjoy step-free access throughout the attraction and up to both Viewing Platforms via the two lifts. The journey in the lift lasts approximately 34 seconds.

Visitors are more than welcome to take the lift back down to the ground level and are not required to descend via the 455 stairs from the Platforms.

Please note The Last Drop can get extremely busy on stadium event days.

When

ArcelorMittal Orbit opening times:

Monday – Thursday 12pm– 5pm

Friday – Sundays 10am – 6pm. Subject to private event bookings.

The Last Drop is open every day 10am - 6pm.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

The ArcelorMittal Orbit is licensed to operate with a maximum of three wheelchairs on the Platforms at any one time. It is recommended to book tickets in advance to guarantee that spaces are available for your visit.
Assistance animals are welcome at the ArcelorMittal Orbit.
Male, female and disabled toilets are located on the Lower Platform and can be accessed via the lifts.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
