Known as "Mud Plugging," this exhilarating motor sport combines skill, coordination, and a touch of daring as you take on steep slopes, tight turns, and undulating terrain in a specially designed Trials Car. This shared session promises fun, camaraderie, and plenty of laughs as you embrace the challenge together.
This 1 ½ hour adventure begins with a safety briefing and introduction to the fascinating history of Sporting Trials, one of the oldest recognised motor sports in the UK. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn the art of keeping the car in constant forward motion, discovering that it’s not about speed but finesse and control. With your instructor beside you, you’ll soon find yourself tackling seemingly impossible climbs, feeling the thrill of victory as the Trials Car takes you further up the slippery slope than you thought possible.
This experience is designed to shine under wet and muddy conditions, making it the ultimate winter sport for thrill-seekers. The Trials Car’s incredible capabilities make navigating challenging terrain not just achievable but immensely satisfying. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned motor sports fan, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the skills to master the mud.
Suitable for participants aged 11 and up, this experience has no height restriction and accommodates individuals weighing up to 20 stone. Available most Saturdays throughout the year, it’s an unforgettable gift or an ideal way to spend time with friends and family.
The session lasts approximately 1 ½ hours.
Please note: this is a share experience with up to three other people. For larger groups multiple cars/ instructors can be provided.
This experience is not generally affected by extreme weather conditions. However, this is a winter sport and is best done when the conditions are wet.
Should it be necessary to cancel the booking due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond control, an alternative date will be arranged.
If the conditions are unsuitable for this experience, the experience provider reserves the right to substitute the Sporting Trials Car Introductory Experience with an alternative motorised experience.
This experience is available to book on most Saturdays throughout the year.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
