The Main Event

Don your aprons and master the art of crafting delicious nigiri and maki sushi, all while enjoying a tasting of hot and cold sakes. Experts will be available to share insights into the history, culture and proper rolling techniques for maki sushi.

Guests will engage in a sushi-making experience, which includes:

Preparing a nigiri set.
Crafting salmon maki rolls.
Making three pieces of nigiri and a maki roll each.
The sushi prepared will be served to guests during the sake tasting session.
Following the sushi-making session, guests will participate in a sake tasting in the bar area featuring: An introduction to the sake-making process.

Tasting four sakes from the high-quality Akashi-Tai range, including a jumai daiginjo (premium sake), hot honjozo genshu, Ume Shu (sweet plum sake), Ninki Ichi (fizzy premium sake).

Important Bits

When

Classes typically take place twice monthly on Tuesdays at 6:30pm and 7:45pm.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
