The Main Event

Looking for a gift that’s fun, thrilling and a little bit wild? White water rafting on the River Tay in Scotland could be just the ticket. This half-day experience is perfect for anyone aged 8 and up, making it a brilliant choice for adventurous families, groups of friends or anyone keen to try something different.

This white water rafting trip covers around six miles of the River Tay. It begins gently, allowing plenty of time to soak in the beautiful Highland Perthshire views and spot local wildlife. The calm section is ideal for learning the ropes and enjoying a few fun games with your raft crew.

But don’t get too comfortable, the river soon steps things up with a series of exciting rapids ranging from Grades 2 to 3. Expect splashes, laughter and a healthy dose of adrenaline as you tackle famous rapids like ‘Zoom Flume’, ‘The Washing Machine’ and the unforgettable ‘Grandtully Rapid’, the longest on the river.

Everything’s included, from wetsuits and safety gear to expert raft guides who’ll lead the way and make sure everyone has a safe, memorable time. There’s even a trip leader on the water and an operations manager on dry land to keep things running smoothly.

Important to Note

All equipment is provided - wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid jacket and paddle.

Transport from the base to the river is also included.

Group size is up to 40 people.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age is 8 years old.
In July & August, youngsters aged 6+ can participate.
Please bring an old pair of shoes to wear on the river (these will get wet), and swimwear to wear under your wetsuit. Optional is a non cotton t-shirt (synthetic materials are best ) for under your wetsuit. Depending on the time of the year warm clothing for before and after your trip.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
