The journey begins with a safety briefing and kit-up at the Riverbanc base, where participants will feel both prepared and excited for what lies ahead. From there, they’ll be whisked off to the stunning Horseshoe Falls, the picturesque starting point of this epic rafting escapade. The real thrill begins as they tackle famous rapids like the twisting Serpent’s Tail, the boulder-strewn challenge of Tombstones, and the exhilarating rush of Town Falls, guaranteed to leave them with hearts racing and smiles beaming!
Don’t let the fun stop there! Family and friends are welcome to cheer them on! Spectators can line the iconic bridge in Llangollen for prime viewing spots or enjoy the action from the riverside decking at Riverbanc, making it a shared experience for everyone to remember.
Perfectly suited for ages 8 and up, this 2 ½ hour adventure requires no prior rafting experience or even the ability to swim, just confidence in water and a taste for excitement! Whether it’s a gift for a birthday, anniversary, or simply a surprise treat, this white water rafting experience promises memories to last a lifetime.
Sessions last approximately 2 ½ hours.
There is the possibility you will be sharing a raft with others - Each raft holds up to 6 people plus a qualified guide.
You need to arrive at the start / arrival time listed on your confirmation email, there is a strict time schedule and failure to arrive on time will result in your session being cancelled.
Session times are 9.30am, 10.15am, 1.30pm and 2.15pm (Please note that 2.15pm is only available April - October)

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
How many people are in a raft / can you take in one session?
The rafts hold 6 customers plus instructor.
Are there changing facilities?
The activity centre is equipped with toilets, changing rooms, showers and storage boxes for your belongings.
Do I need to be able to swim?
No, the ability to swim is not necessary but you must be confident in water.
What do I need to bring on the day?
You will need to bring a pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet (no open toes, sandals, crocs), swimwear, towel and a pair of shorts to wear over your wetsuit.
Is this available all year round?
This experience is unavailable for a 2 week break over the Christmas period, please call to check availability prior to booking.
Do I need to arrive earlier than my start time?
No, you need to arrive at the start / arrival time listed on your confirmation email. There is a strict time schedule and failure to arrive on time will result in your session being cancelled.
Can I wear my glasses?
It is strongly recommended to not wear glasses for your safety and comfort.
Is there any parking on site?
There is no onsite parking, you will need to park in one of the pay and display car parks. Please allow plenty of time for this especially at weekends and throughout the summer months as Llangollen is a popular tourist destination.
Can I take part if I am pregnant?
No, you should not attend this activity if you are pregnant.
Should I bring my medication with me
The instructors carry dry bags, so if you think you may need your medication with you whilst out on session, then bring it with you and ask your instructor to keep it safe.
Will my activity be cancelled in bad weather?
Sometimes. On the rare occasion where the weather makes it impossible to provide your activity within the strict safety guidelines, the experience provider may need to postpone. The experience partner will contact you as soon as possible if they need to reschedule your booking.
