There's nothing quite like life on the water, gracefully gliding through the sea, powered by Mother Nature, and there’s certainly no better place to do this than along the beautiful and stunning South Coast of England.

On this Yacht Trip around the Solent, you'll experience the joy of spending time on the water aboard a super spacious 53-foot sailing Yacht “Sailing Spook”. Unwind and have fun on whichever option you choose: the full day sailing, the full day & 1 night accommodation, 2 day mini break or the 3 day mini break.

This yacht trip sets sail in the Solent and you may head East and cover places such as Cowes, Portsmouth, Southampton, the river Hamble and Chichester. Alternatively, you may head West and take in the Jurassic Coast, Poole, Swanage and Portland Studland.

There are 4 super comfortable, double ensuite cabins, where you will experience the absolute joys of peaceful evening drinks whilst taking in the wonderful sunsets. Follow this with a super relaxing sleep on the yacht, as the sound of the sea gently sends you off and you have a perfect break.

Prolong your sailing adventure and enjoy a longer 2 or 3 day yachting experience taking in even more beautiful sights of the Solent, Isle of Wight, Jurassic Coast and beyond, as we travel to a wide variety of amazing marina locations which are all options for each night of your stay.

Your days aboard the stunning 53-foot yacht will be spent relaxing and soaking up the picturesque views and tranquil atmosphere but if you want to get in on the sailing action, you can! You can helm the craft, trim the sails and learn or enhance fundamental sailing techniques and boat handling skills.

The adventure starts from, the Gold anchor award winning, Lymington Yacht Haven, where you'll be greeted by your Skipper and Crew, and taken aboard the beautiful and very spacious, high-end yacht, Sailing Spook.

At a time convenient for you, we head out onto the sheltered waters of the Solent, and spend the morning enjoying stunning panoramic views of the South Coast and Isle of Wight including the iconic Needles Rocks and Lighthouse and whether you simply sit back and relax or get hands on, you can be sure of an amazing trip.

After a spot of lunch at a stunning location (and the chance for a swim), we while away further hours during an afternoon on the waves, and there’s always the possibility of an amazing sunset to end the day.

However long you choose to spend aboard, this yacht trip guarantees an exciting, safe sailing experience that you'll remember for many years to come.

Important Bits

Important to Note

The yacht has 4 comfortable double cabins with en-suite facilities. Fresh sheets, duvets and pillows are provided.
Guests share the saloon and cockpit areas on the yacht.

General sailing times are between 9/9:30am and 5pm but this is a rough guide only and the skipper is happy to work with passengers should they wish to amend this slightly.

The yacht "Sailing Spook" is coded as a category 2 vessel with the Maritime and Coastguard agency and the 2 skippers, Andy & Russ, have over 70 years of sailing experience between them so you can rest assured your yacht trip will be safe, fun and enjoyable.

When

This experience is available throughout the year. Dates can be discussed with the experience provider, even dates for next year.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Up to a maximum of 8 guests will be on board along with the crew.
All safety equipment such as life jackets are provided and maintained to the highest standards.
Solo travellers and couples may be sharing the experience with other guests however if you are a group of 6 or more, you'll have exclusive use of the whole yacht.
Minimum Age: 5/6 years old, providing that the passenger is able to put on their own life jacket, keep it on for the duration and follow instructions from the skipper.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
