The Main Event

Immerse yourself in the world of zoo keeping with this Half Day Zoo Keeper experience. Meet a huge variety of animals and learn what it takes to look after them like professional keepers.

With the keeper experience, you are able to handle, feed and stroke a selection of animals including lemurs, meerkats, snakes and skunks.

Once you’ve arrived, you’ll have a short safety briefing from an experienced keeper before you set about looking after the animals. You’ll then spend the rest of the time handling the reptiles, stroking the skunks, handling hedgehogs or tenrecs and hanging out with the meerkats!

There’s a range of animals available, which are decided on the day due to the welfare of the animals. Whichever animals you look after as the keeper, you’re sure to not only learn a wealth of knowledge about the creatures, but you’ll also create memories that will last forever!

Important to Note

The welfare of the animals is of utmost importance and we are privileged to get so close to them. They will not be forced to do anything against their nature and all interaction is done on their terms.

This experience takes place in groups of 8 people.

When

This experience is located in Telford, Shropshire.

Available 15 June to 23 December, 10am-12pm.

The experience is two hours long.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Participants must be able bodied and over 6 years old.
Available for groups of 2, 4 & 6.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as you may be sat on the floor with the animals.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
