Join an expert zookeeping team and help care for a diverse range of species. You’ll gain insights into animal diet and nutrition, husbandry practices and an extensive training and enrichment programme at the zoo designed to keep the animals healthy and content.
You'll assist with feeding and cleaning the goats and tapir and meet the meerkats. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to feed the noisy otter family and participate in a bug and reptile session.
The experience is a very practical one and runs from 8am to 1pm, so be prepared to get your hands dirty and dress appropriately. Whilst you’re at the zoo, there will be plenty of opportunities to capture memorable photos both during and after the activities.
Available to those aged 16 years old and over.
This experience does not include any involvement in the big cat or carnivore section.
It's is recommended to wear suitable footwear as the site has uneven pathways, gravel, and hills.
This experience is available to book on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 8:30AM.
It is advised to arrive 15 minutes before to allow time for parking and check-in.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
